Other models of the DV6000 have an Intel Core Duo processor ranging in speed from 1.6GHz. to 2GHz, Intel Celeron processors ranging in speed from 1.6GHz to 1.86GHz., AMD Turion processors ranging in speed from 1.6GHz. to 2GHz and faster AMD Semperon processors that run at 1.8GHz.

The DV6000z model comes with 512 megabytes of DDR II RAM, which is expandable to a maximum of 2 gigabytes. It has has 512 kilobytes of L2 cache memory.

Storage
The DV6000z has a 60GB hard drive. Other models of the DV6000 have 40GB to 200GB hard drives. The computer does not have a floppy drive, and it features support for DVD/CD RW drives.
